About this table:

This coffee table features a thick slab of lyptus joined to a mitered u-shaped base in fir. The tabletop is asymmetrically offset from the base with a deeper overhang on the right and rear sides. It has a sizable surface area with plenty of room for your favorite books below. This particular piece has a pair of butterfly inlays on the tabletop and also on the base to add reinforcement where appropriate. Weighing in at a hefty 78lbs, this is a sturdy piece of furniture.

• The Offset Table is an original design made by Gus Mitchener Woodworking in Salt Lake City, Utah.

• Constructed from solid wood, all corners have been sanded by hand and are smooth to the touch.

• Finished with hand-applied Osmo Polyx, a German Hardwax-Oil made with natural vegetable oils and waxes that is safe for pets, plants, and people. This is our favorite finish. It does a great job of protecting the wood while showing off its natural beauty. Highly durable and long lasting, it resists water, dirt, and common household spills. It’s also easy to spot repair and renew as needed.
