About this table:

This table is made from a glue-up from a single board though because of how the grain on these pieces turned out, it’s actually almost impossible to see the joint from the top. This board was given to me years ago by a friend who didn’t actually know the species. My research tells me it’s most likely Iroko though it could possibly be Cocobolo. Either way the wood is beautiful.

• Made by Gus Mitchener Woodworking in Salt Lake City, Utah.

• Tabletop is constructed from solid wood, all corners have been sanded by hand and are smooth to the touch.

• Tabletop is finished with hand-applied Osmo Polyx, a German Hardwax-Oil made with natural vegetable oils and waxes that is safe for pets, plants, and people. This is our favorite finish. It does a great job of protecting the wood while showing off its natural beauty. Highly durable and long lasting, it resists water, dirt, and common household spills. It’s also easy to spot repair and renew as needed.

• Comes with a set of four 16” hairpin legs in clear-coated steel with matching rubber feet. Made by Hairpin Leg Co., the leg shape is a slimline flute and sits at a slightly reclined angle, based on the original hairpins designed by Henry Glass in the 1940s. They’re sturdy, well-finished, come in a variety of colors and sizes, and the best we have found.

• Simple assembly required when shipped. Hardware and instructions included, holes for installing legs have been predrilled.

• Ready to ship to the Continental US or pick up locally in Salt Lake City, Utah (by appointment).

Furniture will generally ship within 2-3 business days and arrive within 4-7 days of shipping. This table will be sent in 2 boxes in total and include both tabletops with predrilled holes for attaching legs, two sets of hairpin legs with matching rubber feet/floor protectors, hardware (4 screws per leg), and assembly and care instructions.
